Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in Italy: Q3 2025

The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the performance of top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Italy. Here’s a closer look at the performance metrics of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

EasyPark - Parking made easy showed a mixed trend in downloads, peaking at around 42.8K in early August but declining to 19.6K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of about 936K at the beginning of September, with a slight decrease to 819K by the quarter's end.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a strong start with downloads around 37.5K in late July, gradually dropping to approximately 17.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at over 3M in mid-July, then decreased to about 1.9M by late September.

Ryanair maintained a relatively stable download rate, peaking at 27.5K in early August and ending with 23K. Active users hovered around 987K at the start, with a slight decline to 838K by the end of the period.

Airbnb downloads started at 22.1K in early July, decreasing to 9.9K by the end of September. Active users saw a high of 1.2M in late July, falling to approximately 886K by the end of the quarter.

trivago: Compare hotel prices had a notable decline in downloads from 24K in early August to just 4.2K by the end of September. Active users peaked at 127K in mid-August before decreasing to around 61K.
